Flexibility Optimisation (Derivatives Trading) Intern

Our Derivatives Trading team help EDF Group Companies and our customers to optimize the output of their assets and manage market exposure by using quantitative analysis and bespoke software.

The team also helps to enhance revenue streams by evaluating and hedging physical risks over the short, medium and long term.

What are my responsibilities?

You will have the opportunity to work on a long-term project which will aid the trading desks in pricing and trading decisions.

The nature of Derivatives Trading will provide versatility and no day will be the same. You will provide assistance to traders using quantitative analysis and offering support on daily and weekly processes.

You will gain an invaluable insight into the Derivatives by processing large amounts of information and learning terminology.

What do I need to qualify for this internship?

You will be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a statistical, mathematical or quantitative subject (Maths, Engineering, Physics).

You will be proficient in Excel and VBA skills.
