Intern Technical Consultant (starting Summer 2020)

We are now looking for undergraduates that have the talent and ambition to become skilled Technical Consultants. During your placement with us we will ensure that you are challenged and given every opportunity to grow your knowledge and experience with the support of an experienced Autodesk engineering team. As part of one of the largest companies in the software industry, you will work alongside a large team of experienced engineers on challenging industry focused projects. As your skills develop, you will be expected to learn, understand and use the software that Autodesk develops and sells to solve complex engineering problems and deliver high quality results in a timely manner. Autodesk is unique among the leading CADCAM suppliers in having an on-site manufacturing centre containing cutting edge manufacturing and inspection equipment. This extensive manufacturing facility is regularly used by software development and engineering teams to test new ideas and manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

  • Successful candidates will get to work on industrial engineering projects mentored by experienced Autodesk engineers
  • During your placement at Autodesk you will gain experience of working with industry leading software technology as well as having the opportunity to experience how Autodesk products help companies solve complex design and manufacturing problems

The Ideal Candidate

  • We are looking for bright Engineering, Aerospace, Product Design (or related disciplines) students for both our ten-week summer internships and our one-year placements starting summer 2020

Minimum Qualifications

  • 120 UCAS points (2017 UCAS tariff scale) and predicated 1st or 2i degree
