Porsche Cars Great Britain Finance Intern
This is a Placement Year position for a candidate currently studying a Finance/Accounting Undergraduate degree at University, seeking a placement for their 3rd year. The role will commence in August 2020. Please ensure that you have read and understood the requirements of the role before applying.
To support the PCGB Accounts Payable function, including employee expense claims and assisting with various finance related tasks
Core Specific Responsibilities:
- Processing of supplier invoices with overall responsibility for the Porsche Retail Group and Porsche Centre accounts
- Answering and resolving supplier queries
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts prior to payment
- Checking, approving and processing employee’s expense claims
- General administration including opening and distributing the daily post, filing, archiving, etc
- Supplier VAT number audit
- Annual Euro VAT claim
- Training of the next intern
The majority of your day will involve working with SAP and Excel
Requirements for the Job and Person Specification:
Required Qualifications:
- Finance/Accounting undergraduate
Required IT-skills:
- Good Excel skills (e.g. vlookups)
Required language knowledge:
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Other requirements:
- The individual should be enthusiastic, friendly and willing to learn
- A good team player
