Pre-internship insight programme

What do you want the power to do? Join us at Bank of America, and we’ll help you make an impact. From career opportunities to support and encouragement together we’ll make it happen.

What you’ll do

If you’re at the early stage of your degree, here’s how you can discover the ins and outs of the world of banking. You’ll be able to join tailored events and develop new skills. Better still, we’ll make sure you’re prepared for our fast track assessment centre for a summer internship.

During your time with us in April, you’ll be part of a programme that goes right across the firm. Work shadowing will give you insight to two areas of your choice, and we’ll help you develop key skills.

You’ll have every chance to meet different people in the business and to develop a network with your colleagues throughout EMEA.

How to apply and what to expect

Insight participants are typically in their first year at university, but we don’t mind which degree subject you’re doing.

The application process involves uploading your CV and completing an online video interview. If selected following the application stage, you will be invited to an assessment centre involving competency-based exercises. In addition, for most of our full-time programs, we conduct telephone interviews.

About Bank of America

We have 66 million customers ranging from individuals to businesses to governments. We’ve also been building meaningful connections in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for decades. In fact, you’ll find our 200,000-strong workforce all over the world.

The reason we’re here is to make financial lives better. That doesn’t happen in isolation. We drive sustainable growth to help create jobs, transform the communities we all live and work in, and foster economic mobility.

But success isn’t just about figures. We give placement students and interns real experience, and some of them can even fast-track onto our graduate programmes. As for graduates, our diversity networks, induction, extensive training and even the chance to give back via volunteering days mean you can do well in whatever area you choose, even if you don’t have experience. Which might be why we’re at the top of the graduate tables.

Every moment matters, and what’s important to you is important to us. None of us is typical. We always ask ‘what would you like the power to do?’ and work together to achieve it.
