Supply Chain Assistant Placement

Are you Tech-savvy, ready for a 1st experience, and willing to work in a global high-tech company? Then you have come to the right place! We are looking for a Co-op student who is fluent in English and German and can join us for 1 year starting July 1st, 2019.

What you will do:

• Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity
• Reconcile physically all supply chain products with that of invoices and supply documents
• Supply materials on time to meet production schedules and deadlines
• Optimize warehouse functions
• Overviewing production schedule
• Ensuring that there are enough parts for production operations

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills (German & English)
• Self-Motivated attitude
• Microsoft Excel (High proficiency an asset)
• Microsoft Office (intermediate proficiency an asset)
• Time management skills
• Organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of CAD (be able to read CAD drawings an asset)
• User knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Sage® (currently used) an asset
• Being curious in understanding technical products
• Interest in supplier score card, report card, 6sigma quality system an asset
• Willingness to acquire fundamental supply chain skills and evolve in procurement and global supply chain roles

What we offer:

A base salary of 1000 euro per month, with the possibility of a bonus and raise after six months. The employer is looking into the possibility of providing accommodation to students, which would mean rent may be deducted from the salary.

On the job training from the supply chain and production team. Valuable insight into the fast-growing semiconductor industry. Assistance with relocation to Munich, i.e. finding an apartment, filling out registration forms, signing up for health insurance etc. Reimbursement of one-way ticket to Munich on arrival, as well as return ticket after successfully completed placement.

We are a small company (approx. 35 employees) with an informal, friendly working environment. We do employee social events, and we have bi-weekly Friday meetings with lunch and snacks, where you get updates from the different departments in the company and can get to know your co-workers better.
