Finance Summer Internship

Who you are

You have a passion for making things happen and enjoy working as part of a team in a rapidly changing business environment. With an analytical mind and a flair for financial planning, you’re comfortable communicating with a range of different audiences.

Milton Keynes.

When you need to be available

What you’ll be doing

You’ll carry out two rotational placements as an assistant management accountant or an assistant financial accountant. You could be part of a team affecting critical decisions throughout our organisation. Working alongside some of the most respected finance professionals in the industry, you’ll experience a variety of financial disciplines including reporting and analysis, periodic accounting and planning. You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in experience days, site visits and shadowing. At the end of your placement we’ll ask you to put together a short presentation to reflect on your experiences and help improve the scheme for future intakes.

Why you should choose this placement

A short-term placement offers a unique opportunity to experience many parts of the business, and make a contribution from day one. The scheme is run by former graduates who act as coaches and mentors to our new recruits. There are only a small number of summer placements available which means, if you’re successful, you’ll be highly visible across the finance function. Many students go on to make successful applications to the graduate scheme and now hold senior positions within the finance team.
