Information Technology Placement

Key Responsibilities

  • Turn business needs into meaningful actionable requirements.
  • Ensure IT security compliance and documentation is accurate
  • Engage a wide sphere of business partners
  • Define, refine and instigate automated processes
  • Support the local business and remote locations
  • Configuration and support of client devices
  • Analysis of user/business MI needs
  • Developing and modifying new and existing queries
  • Gathering requirements from the business
  • Ad Hoc IT activities
  • Doing what matters most and connecting with the audience
  • Server and Network Administration
  • IT Project Management
  • High Level Programming with applications such as K2 / SharePoint
  • Provide training to non-IT colleagues

The Opportunity

Within the role, you will be a key part of the UK IT team supporting a growing business. We have key legacy systems needing migration and requests to implement new processes to improve efficiency and productivity. The business is also hungry for business intelligence. Whilst you won’t be doing this on your own you will be helping the team to manage these projects to completion.

This is an excellent time to join KB IT as we will be going through a transformational time with the move to Cloud applications and SaaS. In addition to the projects there will be a day job and that will consist of the general IT support ranging from walking the floor and building laptops through to VMware Administration and Cisco switch administration. This is a great opportunity to visit all areas of the business and to get an understanding of what they do. Meeting colleagues you wouldn’t normally meet.
