Middle Office Administrator Placement

WorldFirst Middle Office is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in the financial markets to move to one of the most innovative and fastest growing foreign exchange companies in the UK. Key responsibilities:

  • Working with other teams to ensure a smooth and accurate trade to payment process
  • Monitoring the Middle Office Inbox and actioning emails
  • Providing assistance and support to the Middle Office Team
  • Supporting the Trade Control function with daily operations
  • Covering of open positions, booking Swaps and checking that trades are booked correctly
  • Monitoring funds due and settlement of Spot and Forward FX contracts
  • Assisting with client queries and resolving any issues that occur
  • Extensive communication with other teams within in the business for example Operations, Dealing, Treasury
  • Producing client account statements
  • Ensuring client payment beneficiary details are accurately captured

Skills and experience required:

The successful candidate will be a graduate who has:

  • Strong arithmetic, analytical skills and working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
  • Customer service experience and/or a basic knowledge of financial markets and economics desirable but not a requirement
  • Degree educated, ideally in a business/finance related subject but this is non-essential
  • Good team work, communication skills and ability to work in a time pressured environment

Remuneration package:

  • £22,000
