Industrial Placement - Associate

The Role
As an Industry Placement Student, you will join our newest segment, exploring an emerging part of the business and helping to drive forward new products and business initiatives. You can expect a steep learning curve and a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to learn quickly, manage competing deadlines, and deliver projects to your team under time pressure.
You will be working closely with other Placement Students with one of our Managers to deliver on multiple projects within business development. This will include building the same skills as those of our full-time Associates, with a focus on revenue generation, excellence in client service, and proactively providing our clients with an entirely new range of products.
Successful Placement Students will have the option of continuing their relationship with AlphaSights by working remotely on an ad hoc basis following their year of work in our London office and will be encouraged to apply for the full-time Associate role after graduation from their University.
The role will be extremely hands-on and you will be expected to take ownership of the direction of the new unit in which you will be placed. This will not only be an opportunity to directly contribute to and grow the bottom-line of an already rapidly growing company but a great kick-start to the career of entrepreneurial-minded and driven candidates.

Ideal candidates will be studying a business-related degree and seeking an opportunity to apply the topics they have studied in a real-world environment. Requirements
- Candidate must be on a course that supports one-year industry placement
- Strong academic credentials in either Economics or Business Management and noteworthy extracurricular leadership
- Evidenced success in a professional and/or extracurricular field
- Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in a relevant foreign language is a plus
