Customer Services Representative Industrial Placement

Collins Aerospace is a premier Aerospace company and our goal is to set the standard for world class customer support in the aftermarket.

The Customer Service Desk provide aftermarket support to over 600 customers for Engine Controls and Actuation Systems.

We are looking to offer an undergraduate the opportunity to join us for 12 months to identify and implement improvement projects as well as providing general support to the team. This is a great opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the challenges that are faced in a customer facing department managing hundreds of customers and thousands of parts.

The successful candidate will need to have good interpersonal and communication skills, good project management skills, be computer literate and work well under pressure.

The range of activities will be as follows:

  • Provide support with the new customer account process.
  • Implement a new process to monitor order and quote activity for existing customers.
  • Develop data management tools and standard work to improve overall efficiency.
  • To look at all Customer Service Desk processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • To implement all viable process improvements in order to create additional capacity for the Customer Service Desk.
  • To provide general support as required, including some customer facing tasks.

The position has a competitive salary along with 25 days paid annual holiday.

IMPORTANT: Candidates must be able to commit to the full 12 month placement (apart from the above holidays).
