This is an opportunity to join our dedicated and talented team within the Business and Commercial Operations Business Unit for 12 months at our site in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire as a placement student and help build a strong foundation for success in your future.

The Marketing Operations function works closely with the wider business including Marketing Teams from across our business to deliver centralised operational processes.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility of this placement is to partner with multiple brand teams to review their current and future meeting and exhibition needs. Coordinate these exhibition requirements across the MSD business to maximise return on these investment by efficiently coordinating stands, promotional materials and associated logistics. Including liaison with external suppliers.
• Provide support to the Marketing Operations Lead to ensure the efficient, effective and compliant running of centralised processes including the compliant distribution, storage and destruction of marketing materials.
• Additional opportunity during placement to support both development and implementation of assigned pharmaceutical marketing projects within business and commercial operations business unit including support for our mature brands portfolio within the business unit.
• Collaboration with multiple brand teams in the filming, directing and editing of videos in the in-house AV studio.

Education and Experience

• On course for a minimum 2:1 degree
• Penultimate year of study, returning to your degree course at the end of the placement

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to meet fellow students before commencing the placement and will partake in a two week handover period at the beginning of their placement with the current student.
