Regulatory Chemical Compliance Placements

The Regulatory Chemical Compliance Student Placement is a non-laboratory based role that assists in Lubrizol’s commitment to the health, safety and environmental aspects of our chemistries. You will be part of a team focused on providing chemical regulatory support across our entire businesses portfolio.

During your year with us, you will use your scientific background and training to undertake real life projects within the Product Safety and Compliance team. You will also have the opportunity to create and showcase a technical poster for the Hazelwood Innovation Symposium, and present your work at the research and development technical joint talks towards the end of your placement.

You will regularly interact with chemists, engineers, biologist and toxicologists based within the UK and liaise with colleagues across the globe to ensure consistency. If you are seeking a non-laboratory based role but want to apply your scientific training on projects that are critical to Lubrizol, then this is the role for you.

At Lubrizol, we have a wide range of placements available across a number of different disciplines. At our Hazelwood site, for Science and Chemistry students, we also offer lab based roles within Component Science, Applied and Strategic Research and Blend Test Services.

Our Manchester site, Blackley, home to our Advanced Materials research and development centre for excellence offers three lab based roles within our Performance Coatings Group. These are Research Chemist, Applications Chemist and Scientist in Paper and Textiles Applications.

If you are interested in our non-science based opportunities, we also offer placements within Engineering, Business and IT Support.
