Process & Materials Industrial Placement

We are looking to offer an under Graduate an opportunity to join us in a 12 month Industrial Placement in our Engineering Team who support our Aftermarket Repair and Overhaul facility in Marston Green.

This is an ideal opportunity for a technically minded individual to gain ‘on the job experience’ in both areas of Engineering and Commercial acumen in a complex Aerospace environment.

Work activities will encompass the following:

• Engineering Investigations, fault diagnostics and corrective actions
• Engineering Change Instructions and task management
• Technical Issue Resolution
• Technical Support to MRO operations
• Development of Best Practices and Standard Work Operations
• Selection, Sourcing and Commissioning of Processing equipment
• Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) through continuous improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications

• Studying towards a Degree involving one of the following:
• Manufacturing Engineering/ Process engineering/Materials / Physical Science discipline

You must be:

• Self-Motivated individual
• Able to multi-task and prioritise own work
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

The position has a salary of £17,494 along with 25 days paid annual holiday.

IMPORTANT: Candidates must be able to commit to the full 12 month placement (apart from the above holidays).

Start Date: June/July 2018
