Business Applications Assistant

As ‘Business Applications Assistant’ you will play an essential role in the Salesforce Team supporting internal Golfbreaks employees (users). The team is responsible for analysing, designing, building and enhancing the business application platform (Salesforce).

On your placement, you will gain exposure to all areas of the business as you support day-to-day requests, provide end-user training, and promote platform adoption. A candidate best suited for this role would be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a methodical approach to problem solving. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, where no one day is the same, a tenacious attitude and eagerness to learn will be a big advantage.

This role includes a unique opportunity to leave your placement year with an industry-recognised Salesforce certification (ADM201), which will not only showcase your achievements as a Business Applications Assistant, but will also be a great advantage to you as a graduate when presented to future employers. Throughout your time at Golfbreaks you will be provided with formal as well as internal training, which will complement the time you are also given during the working week for independent learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and responding to requests across the UK Scandinavian and US offices, using our Salesforce Case Management system

  • Ensuring that all requests are accurately logged
  • Setting up and maintaining users
  • Helping preserve data integrity across our integrated systems
  • Assisting with ongoing project tasks, including minor Salesforce deployments and testing
  • Understanding the business ecosystem as a whole
  • Fostering excellent relationships with the company to facilitate collaboration
  • Creating and maintaining Salesforce-related documentation
  • Communicating with our suppliers to support our integrated telephony, electronic signature and document management applications
  • Nurturing personal development
  • Provide comprehensive metrics for the business using reports and dashboards
