What the programme involves
At Centrica, we secure and supply the energy that keeps millions of homes and businesses running. The Centrica Finance function works across all our business units to provide performance analysis, critical insight and decision support. Join us, on our summer placement programme, and you can discover what it would be like to play a key role in our organisation as one of our finance professionals.
The programme will take a lot of hard work and initiative on your part. But in return you’ll get to develop career-boosting skills and could earn yourself a place on our graduate programme if you really stand out from the crowd.
What you will need
Responsibility comes fast here. To handle it successfully, you need a keen analytical mind and outstanding people skills as well as the flexibility to perform in a fast-paced environment. Integrity and passion are also important, and you must be able to communicate complex ideas.
We look for proactive, can-do students who have a genuine desire to learn about our business and industry. You must be a penultimate- or final-year student expecting a 2:1 degree (2:2 if combined with a Master’s) and with BBB at A-levels (or equivalent).
