Sourcing Placement
We have an exciting opportunity within our International Operations team for a Sourcing Intern. This role will spend 6 months working within Indirect Sourcing and 6 months working within Direct Sourcing. This great internship for an undergraduate who is interested in a career path within Buying.
Your Role
This role will manage specific sourcing projects and work closely with suppliers, as well as update Sourcing processes and procedures. You will support and run tenders, deliver specific budget actions and identify opportunities for future cost savings within the business. Supported by a Senior Buyer, you will develop and run a transformation project in the Direct and Indirect Sourcing areas and present findings to our senior management teams.
You will gain an insight into sourcing strategies including Spend Analysis, Cost negotiations, Supplier contract development and cost savings projects to deliver business needs. You will assist in the maintenance of supplier dashboards and work cross functionally across all areas of the business to deliver cost savings
