NCS allows young people to take part in outdoor activities, skill development, and community volunteering. In summer 2017, over 44,000 young people participated in our intensive three to four-week programme. 2018 is our most ambitious programme to date, and its lasting impact relies on the 4,500 seasonal staff members who will inspire their journey.

Manage a team of staff and a group of young people this summer.
The Social Action Manager role is suited for people who have a passion for running campaigns in local communities. The role sees you assisting young people in their design and implementation of their social action projects.
Our paid seasonal roles are your chance to boost your leadership skills and enhance your CV.
As a Social Action Manager, you will not only manage a group of up to 10 staff but also empower group of 12-13 young people. Through helping with the development of the young people’s social action campaigns, you will manage the logistics of the campaigns in this fixed term role.
