Technical Sales Placement
We are looking for an exceptional team member to work as part of the Sales Engineering (SE) team in the Strategic Sales team. This team provides Pre-Sale technical support to the sales team and end user customers, primarily engaged in all facets of Pre sales technical engagements, ranging from demonstrations, proof of concepts, lab and pilot test implementations, Request for proposal (RFP) responses & Pre-Implementation troubleshooting. The Intern within this team will work alongside experienced SE’s to help deliver these, ultimately owning and delivering customer requests solely. This team focusses on delivering solutions based on Android Zebra devices and Zebra printers. We’re looking for someone with an Interest in Mobile Development and Sales, Development Skills in Java (Android), Development Skills in other Mobile Languages Desirable (C/C++/Xamarin) and Development Skills in Web Technology’s.
Some duties include
- Work alongside a team of experienced team members on sales opportunities on a variety of Zebra products to large Enterprise customers
- Create proof of concept solutions which can showcase Zebra products
- Develop Android applications which meet a customer need
- Document and define best practice in application development for Zebra hardware.
- Developer Engagement – Create blogs and technical content for use within our developer community on forums and other social media platforms
- Take part in customer innovation days to showcase Zebras technology
IT Placement
We are looking for an exceptional team member to support the MIS IT EMEA. To work in the EUS (End User Support Team) Learning IT Support across all Level2 IT tasks and activities. MIS are responsible for supporting the day to day activities of the Zebra staff in EMEA in all sites but specifically in Bourne End – Customer Facing, Managing Ticket Queues for PC/Desktop Support and Telephone / Mobile Phone support, working with all countries where Zebra staff are located, working with the MIS EUS team members in EMEA. (Located in UK, CZ, France, Netherlands, Russia and South Africa).
Some duties include
- Some experience in IT support and understanding of IT preferable.
- Working closely with Zebra Staff both on the telephone and face to face
- Using Service Now ticketing system to understand review and resolve users issues Incidents and problems.
- Cross-functional learning opportunities with MIS and Business customers
- Building PC’s / Desktops for Zebra staff
- Ordering and delivery of mobile phones to Zebra Staff
- IT Audits of stock and new orders
Qualifications for both roles
- Current University student studying for an Undergraduate Degree
- Degree within a Technology vertical
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good listening and presentation skills
- Must be able to effectively coordinate across various groups and functional teams both inside and outside of the business.
- Self-starter who enjoys working in a team to accomplish goals
