Manufacturing Internships

We have a number of different exciting manufacturing opportunities in our Lincoln office, you will be asked to specify in your application which roles you would like to be considered for, below is a short summary of each:

Manufacturing Internship, Core Gas Turbine
The role will involve identifying and introducing optimum methods of modern manufacture, investigation and data analysis of non-conformance, implementation of LEAN manufacturing techniques and process flow, assistance in the introduction of new parts into Manufacturing from Product Design / Engineering plus problem solving and root cause analysis of manufacturing issues.

Degree required for role:
Working towards a 2:2 or above in an Engineering, Manufacturing or Science based degree.

Manufacturing Internship, MHG Group
You will work on Implementation of digitalization within the manufacturing environment (manufacture of turbine blades and vanes), supporting the team working on the Manufacturing Operations Management and Preactor Scheduling Tool projects.

Engineering Degree required for this role:
Working towards a 2:2 or above in Mechanical, Production or Digitalization.

Business Improvement Internship
You will support and Lead business improvement project activities covering Business Excellence, Quality Management, Customer Quality and Non Conformance Management Guidance and support will be provided by experienced BI personnel to make this a Productive learning opportunity.

Experience Required for this role:
Experience in Manufacturing and Transactional Business process is desirable but a structured approach to problem solving and conversing at all levels is essential.
