Nutrition, Health & Wellness Placement

Are you looking to go from strength to strength? We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, tenacious individual to support our Nutrition, Health and Wellness team on a 12-month placement.

Founded in 1866, Nestlé is the world’s largest food and drink company. Nestlé covers nearly every field of nutrition: infant formula, milk products, confectionery, instant coffee, ice-cream, culinary products, mineral water and more. On our Nutrition placement programme you will be working across many of our categories including Food, Beverage, Confectionery and Nestlé Professional, with a team of Dietitians and Nutritionists. You will also work with our communications departments, working on employee wellness and public affairs.

What can you expect?

You will take real responsibility with day-to-day nutrition support for the business. This will include supporting wider Nestlé teams with products and packaging as well as approving and developing artwork and communications.

You will also undertake a wide range of project activities, which may include:

  • Developing and approving labelling.
  • Competitor benchmarking.
  • Helping deliver our employee wellness programme, including writing newsletters.
  • Analysis of recipes and products.
  • Assessment of products against internal and external nutrient targets.
  • Developing and approving nutrition communications.
  • Implementing nutrition training.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who is currently in their second year studying towards an Association for Nutrition accredited undergraduate degree. You need to demonstrate the confidence to use your initiative and the ability to work closely within teams. You will need excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and to be computer literate. You should be highly motivated, with a strong level of communication skills and an ability to prioritise tasks and deliver on time. We would also expect you to demonstrate an awareness of current health and nutrition issues in the UK.
