Food and Beverage Placement
We are looking to hire an intern to join our Food and Beverage Development team on a 12 month placement. This placement is ideally suited to an undergraduate with a passion for food and restaurant concepts, who is looking to gain experience within a world renowned organization.
As an intern, you will be instrumental in supporting the development of high quality food & beverage concepts for Hilton’s franchised and leased hotels. You will support two of our Senior Directors with a variety of projects and will gain great exposure and insight to a career within Food and Beverage Concepts and Branding on an international scale.
What will I be doing?
You will carry out extensive market research on Food and Beverage trends, analysing and reporting your findings and sharing these with the wider team. You will also support with concept briefs and presentations and will be responsible for tracking pipeline for future projects as well as statuses of existing projects. You will be instrumental in the day to day organising of the team which could include a range of ad hoc tasks such as providing general administrative support, attending meetings and communicating with a range of internal stakeholders, both in the UK and internationally.

What are we looking for?
This is a 12 month internship starting in June 2018 so ideally you will be an undergraduate currently working towards a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) OR a recent graduate looking to gain experience in the corporate aspects of restaurant development.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and dining out, and will be able to input suggestions that will help us to deliver exceptional dining culture internationally.
Other ‘must haves’ include working knowledge of MS Powerpoint and Excel, exceptional organisation & time management skills and absolute discretion in dealing with confidential information.
Preferred experience
- Some hospitality industry experience is preferred, with a mix of experience in food & beverage roles
- Knowledge of restaurant concepts, restaurant design, Food and Beverage trends and menu planning would also be great to have.
