Audit Placement
As our Audit Intern, you will work within the wider Internal Audit Function (Teams: Internal Audit, Internal Security, Player Advocacy), assisting with the planning and execution of departmental workloads. Hands on involvement in internal audit fieldwork, Sarbanes Oxley compliance testing, special projects and investigations, internal security fraud monitoring, and player advocacy projects will be expected.
This is a fixed term role aimed at students who are required to complete a 12 month work placement as part of their degree, commencing summer 2018.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Audit
- Work on internal audit projects under guidance of a qualified internal audit manager
- Flowcharting, procedure and internal controls documentation preparation and checking
- Design, execution and documentation of internal controls compliance testing and substantive transaction testing
- SOX compliance testing, assisting the Company’s Internal Controls (SOX) team
- Ad hoc projects, tasks and assignments for the Director of Internal Audit
- Assistance with COSO 2013 compliance work and evidence gathering
Internal Security
- Assist team in execution of detailed daily & weekly anti-fraud transaction monitoring
- Learn functions and reports in the back office gaming software
- Administrative assistance, database cleansing, record checks etc.
- Assist on internal security project execution and investigations
- Ad hoc projects, tasks and assignments for the Internal Security Manager
Global Player Advocate
- Assist with projects, case reviews, business intelligence, as required
General
- General team administrative tasks, ad hoc requests from Director of Internal Audit

Skills and Capabilities
Essential
- Current university student studying a 4 year graduate programme requiring a sandwich placement
- Strong academic proficiency and results to date
- Highest integrity, honesty, confidentiality, common-sense and self-awareness
- Keen eye for detail, tenacity and dedication to quality
- Bright enquiring mind, desire for getting things right
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools and aptitude for computer based work
Desirable
- Knowledge of auditing principles and objectives, accounting, flowcharting, process mapping
- Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics related degree disciplines; however candidates from any discipline with excellent academic achievements are also encouraged
