Press and PR Placement
If you have a passion for public relations then our PR role is for you. During your 12 months placement you will be the pre-limanary point of contact for press and public enquiries as well as be responsible for maintaining and updating media website, with the support of your manager. You can expect to learn how to write product press releases as well as support new product launch events and monitor external media evaluation.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Accurately answering questions from the media on company activities and products
- Updating product information, data tables, sales figures on the media website
- Co-ordinate booking and ordering of product photography to support press releases, press web site and press office stock.
- Checking published product data
- Training within the department to learn how to write basic product press releases.
- Assist Manager with monitoring of external media evaluation.(Print and web electronic)
- Assist Manager with new product launches
What do we look for?
You will need excellent interpersonal skills as well as exceptional grammar and writing accuracy and should be studying towards a Public Relations degree, on track for a 2.1.
