Airport Operations Placement
Our Airport Operations Centre, Airside & Baggage internship puts you right at the heart of our operation, enabling you to gain many valuable insights into how we operate the busiest two-runway airport in the world. You could be working on projects within our new Airport Operations Centre (APOC), responsible for operational planning, monitoring and oversight of Heathrow. You may also be completing placements within our baggage and airside departments, helping you to gain a broad understanding of our business.
The internship can last between 10 and 12 months and would be ideal either as a university placement or for a graduate who wants to see their career take off. The aim is to help you develop quickly and build a strong foundation for the future.
To help you make the most of your time with us, we offer ongoing guidance and support, and there will be lots of opportunities for you to learn from experienced managers and colleagues. And when you reach the end of your programme, the opportunities will just be beginning, as there will be a huge range of career paths open to you in our business, including the chance to progress onto our Future Leaders Graduate Programme or secure a permanent role within your function.
