About Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS)
We provide finance and insurance services to customers across the entire Volkswagen Group. One of the most unexpected things about VWFS is that we don’t just provide solutions for Volkswagen. We also work with a variety of amazing brands that include Audi, SEAT, SKODA, Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and MAN.
You might imagine you’ll need a finance degree and a wardrobe full of grey suits to work at VWFS. Not true. We’re smart casual in the office, informal in how we work together and we’re looking for students with diverse skills, backgrounds and ideas to join our journey.
Our Fleet Data and Insights Placement
Our Fleet department manages our Business to Business Customer Portfolio. The placement role is an exciting opportunity for a student to join a top 6 Fleet News (FN50) leasing business. We will be looking for students who have the ability to help the team deliver continuous business change through innovative thinking.
During your 12 month placement you will gain experience in various disciplines to really build on the knowledge that you have already learned at University. Some of the main responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the sales team to improve the promotion of non-asset based solutions
- Market research to ensure the solutions offered are market leading and deliver real value to the customer
- Supporting the Fleet Supplier Managers in review meetings as well as preparation of performance reports to drive continual improvement
- Analysis of data, looking for trends and opportunities for both Fleet Sales and the Customer
You’ll need to be studying towards a Business related degree, have a strong customer focus and have a willingness to take ownership, whilst also working as part of a team.
