Junior Commercial Analyst Placement

What you’ll do

This is a Year in Industry placement within the Asset Commercialisation team for E.ON Climate & Renewables. It will involve carrying out a number of commercial activities that will help develop your stakeholder management skills, whilst giving you broad exposure to the business. This includes:

  • Income forecasting
  • Compiling competitor analysis and monitoring new opportunities
  • Working on key commercial contracts
  • Contributing to monthly reporting and planning
  • Helping to improve and implement best-practice models.

This placement could well prepare you for a future with us. Shine and we may fast-track you to the last stage of assessment for one of our graduate schemes. Equally, with the chance to explore our business whilst you’re here, you never know what other career opportunities it could lead to.

What we’re looking for

  • You’re working towards a 2:1 numerate and/or finance degree
  • You have strong numeracy, analytical and financial evaluation skills.
  • You’ll need to be competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • You’ve a genuine interest in the UK power and renewable energy market.
  • You can demonstrate you have a knack for spotting commercial opportunities.
