EMEA Marketing Placement

The EMEA Marketing Intern role offers the unique opportunity to gain insights and experience from different marketing disciplines. With potential opportunities to travel abroad, the role will involve you working directly with senior business partners and will equip you with a vast and employable skillset.

Within the EMEA Marketing team you will work across Field, Channel and Demand/Analytics Marketing teams.  You will be involved in:

  • The organisation of events, from small user groups to networking events and large corporate conferences and tradeshows.
  • Using technologies such as Marketo and Salesforce.com to carry out marketing analytics, assist in the creation of marketing campaigns and track the progression of marketing leads. 
  • Research projects including competitor analysis and research around new/emerging trends
  • Partner & Channel marketing initiatives and events
  • Social media initiatives, co-ordinating with CA Communications team.
  • Managing budgets and financials
  • Updating internal and external website with EMEA content and working with global ops team on web analytics
  • Agency management: supporting the EMEA Marketing team with their requirements, you will work with CA’s internal and external agencies managing costs, providing briefings and providing creative input.
  • Collaboration: working across extensive regional and local teams within product management, PR/Comms, Legal, Sales, and Presales to support project and event rollout.

The ideal candidate

  • Undergraduates who are ideally on the ITMB course (other degrees will be considered if the applicant can demonstrate strong interest in cross-collaboration within the business or interest in IT)
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Ideally be on track for a 2:1 or above in their chosen degree subject
  • Be driven, well focused, organised, punctual and have the ability work well under pressure
  • Capable of performing well independently as well as a member of a team
  • Have a strong interest in IT
  • Have strong communication skills - ability to interact well across a diverse team and with senior business leaders
  • Have good IT and business office skills
  • An interest in technology and how it is shaping everyday lives
