Food Technology Placement
Imagine spending a whole year creating and (let’s be honest) eating delicious M&S food while learning from Food Technology experts.
Are you studying for a food science-related qualification? Or does your degree cover microbiology? If so, this is your chance to step into one of the UK’s biggest, most technical and creative culinary environments, see the master Food Technologists at work and get some real experience on your CV.
Everyone loves M&S food and the special moments it provides. But few people realise quite how much care, skill and innovative thinking goes into producing it. This placement will give you that insight and much more. You’ll work alongside our Food Technology experts, ensuring our products are of the highest quality and our supplier factories maintain the same standards too – guaranteeing we deliver the inspirational products our customers expect. And to make sure you’re getting the most out of your time with us, we’ll also give you your own Food business project to work on.
To succeed in this highly technical job, you’ll need to make the most of the skills you’ve gained on your degree and, as well as having a passion for food, you’ll enjoy working as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced environment.
