IT Internship

This three month internship will provide a student who has just completed their second year at university with a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience before entering their final year.

The I.T Intern will provide hands-on assistance to various teams within the I.T department, getting involved in key projects and adding tangible value to the team.

You will primarily spend time with two teams: I.T Service Management and the Network Team. This will give you critical insight into the day-to-day I.T needs of a global business and the core responsibilities of our I.T function.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to real-time projects that are being carried out within the I.T department. With the chance to use your technical knowledge and understanding of information systems, you will be encouraged to put forward your ideas and support the project teams through the various project phases.

The Individual:

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in I.T to join our team – someone who is approachable, personable and a good communicator. To be successful in this role, you will be:

• Seeking a summer internship ahead of your final year at university

Academically, we are looking for students who are on track to achieve a 2:2 or higher, having achieved at least CCC or equivalent at A-level. You will have a strong I.T focus and a good technical background.

Salary & Benefits:

• A salary of £22,000 pro rata

Training Opportunities & Progression:

Full training will be provided as part of the internship to help you get to grips with the business systems and processes and give you the relevant technical training for your role. You will be supported by both the I.T service management team and the network team throughout the three months to ensure you get the most out of the experience.
