Business Change – Industrial Placement

The Better4 Programme is a technology enabled business wide change programme encompassing all key aspects of Mace operations globally. Through the effective implementation of a business wide Human Capital Management (HCM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (Oracle Cloud) the company intends to both significantly improve its operational effectiveness and also provide a platform for future growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Working with the Business Function Lead focusing on a specific area of the business, to: support the development of policies, processes, functional requirements, governance, data, communication and stakeholder management
  • Understand the key interdependencies between the business functional area and other related parts of the programme and helping to ensure that the relevant collaboration happens
  • Ensure that plans and associated documentation are reviewed and maintained support in the effective communication of work progress in both the business function and the programme generally
  • Support the business through change; establish new ways of working
  • Assure the system is fit-for-purpose and meets business requirements

This placement can be a useful foundation for anyone looking to start their career after university in a variety of roles including: Project Management, Finance, HR, Marketing & Communication, Business Change Management.

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum 2.1 undergraduate degree (expected) in any subject .
  • 240 UCAS points from 3 A Levels (excluding general studies). Equivalent international qualifications and HNCs are also accepted.
  • Grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent international qualifications)
  • Evidence of significant extra-curricular activities that demonstrate drive and excellent interpersonal skills
