HR Industrial Placement

As part of the HR team you will support the HR service delivery for our fast-growth company. We have two placements to offer: one in our generalist team and the other in the talent acquisition team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is on a four-year sandwich course ideally in HR or another relevant business discipline that has a keen interest in Human Resources.

What you will do:

Depending on which placement you opt to do, some examples of your responsibilities are below

  • Format job descriptions and advertise all roles across relevant advertising boards
  • Assisting with the co-ordination of full interview processes, including liaising with partner agencies
  • Work with the Head of Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Advisors on candidate research projects, including detailed research, analysis and market mapping exercises to identify candidates for current and future hiring needs
  • Produce and send out all contract and offer details to successful candidates
  • Manage the new starter process including pre-employment checks, inputting necessary information in the HRIS system and preparing new starter documents

You will have:

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Great attention to detail with the flexibility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effective organisation and prioritising skills
  • Be a strong team player with a flexible, pragmatic and collaborative approach to work
  • Possess a high level of confidentiality and professionalism handling sensitive data
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to work in a fast-paced role
  • Enthusiastic, pro-active, self-motivated and an ambassador for HR at World First
