Contracts and Operations (Drug Safety) Placement

A unique opportunity for a placement supporting both the Quality Management Team and the Operations team.

The Quality Management team is responsible for compliance with pharmacovigilance legislation and regulatory requirements by ensuring good practice and clear and legally compliant documentation is kept up-to-date.

The operations team are responsible for processing of adverse event reports from clinical studies, post-marketing studies, spontaneous, regulatory authority and literature report sources.

In this placement you will…

Assist the Quality Management team in ensuring the Mundipharma products comply with applicable regulatory requirements, this will include: -

  • Collating necessary information to initial new pharmacovigilance agreements
  • Assisting with the periodic review of existing agreements, including the collation of signatures, electronic document storage, scheduling training and other associated administration
  • Coordinating all activities associated with amended agreements, preparing documentation, circulating and collating reviews and feedback and finalizing documentation
  • Processing reports including data entry and narrative writing
  • Data entry of adverse event reports into our global Drug Safety database will provide an insight and overview of key pharmacovigilance processes

You’ll need to be…

  • Studying toward a Business Administration degree
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexible in your approach to work and able to prioritise effectively
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to develop strong relationships with people
  • Able to take ownership and work to tight deadlines, with good time management skills
  • Passionate about working within a pharmaceutical organisation
