What will I gain from the programme?

  • The opportunity to apply your programming/web based skills to real business scenarios
  • Hands on experience of using programming tools such as Python, Javascript and Visual Studio to write programmatic solutions based on Cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services and Azure)
  • Exposure to industry standard tools used by many businesses today (VMware, Microsoft), however taking the use of these to the next level though a DevOps approach
  • You will be asked to participate in customer engagements helping our Technical Consultants and Architects deliver innovative solutions to problems
  • The experience of presenting your ideas and solutions with other technically minded individuals

What criteria do I need to meet to apply?

We’re seeking individuals who are on track for at least a 2:1 honours degree, in Computer Science or equivalent, and are in the penultimate year of their degree. You must have a focus on programming/development, with a basic understanding of these concepts; data types, primitives, statements, expressions, error checking, and debugging approaches. Also an interest in using public cloud as the vehicle for deployment.
The ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic, open minded and eager to get stuck in and help come up with solutions.
This is a national role so you’ll need to hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel across the UK.
