Delivery Support Industrial Placement

NATS long-established trainee programme equips ambitious placement students with broad industry experience and well-rounded knowledge of Air Traffic activities, not to mention exposure to some of the most advanced systems in the world.

The NATS Training Delivery Support Team is recruiting an Industrial Placement student as part of their Graduate Scheme. The role provides placement students with a good level of insight into the business management processes across a variety of business areas. The successful candidate will get involved in the complexities of managing a professional training facility in a regulated environment and also the challenges of managing complex resourcing requirements.

The role

Working in the Delivery Support business area the Industrial Placement role supports the following key areas:

• Strategic & Tactical Planning – to include Supply and Demand Profiling and Resource Management.
• Business Reporting - to include Performance Reporting and Analysis.
• Business Improvement - Process and Performance related Improvement projects
• Course Administration - to include new course preparation and meet & greet

Principal Accountabilities

• Support for the management and maintenance of the NATS Training Management System. This will include creation, maintenance, formatting and control of controlled documentation in line with the requirements of the NATS Training Management System (TMS), the NATS management system (NMS) and ISO9001:2000.
• Support for the Strategic & Tactical planning function. This will include the updating and maintenance of planning timelines, scenario modelling and resource profiling.
• Provide support for NATS Training performance reporting to provide visibility of performance against planned objectives.
• Support for data collection and analysis in support of training performance improvement and key Projects
• Active involvement in Business Improvement Projects delivering financial business benefits and process improvement.
• Provide support to other members of the Delivery Support Team and other areas of NATS Training as required.
