About Nabarro
Nabarro is a major UK commercial law firm renowned for the positive and practical way it works. Our no-nonsense approach and wide-ranging expertise help clients achieve their objectives across many sectors, both public and private.
We work with some of the world's most innovative, successful and high profile companies in a range of industry sectors. The diversity of our client base adds to the breadth and depth of our commercial experience and expertise - experience and expertise that, in turn, helps us help our clients.
Summer Scheme
At Nabarro, our Summer Scheme lasts for three weeks, rather than the more usual two. And, no less important, you’ll spend the entire time in a single department, allowing you not just to start building relationships, but to roll up your sleeves and get involved in some interesting work for clients
When you arrive you’ll be given all the information and training you need to hit the ground running and get stuck in. And, just like a Nabarro trainee, you’ll be allocated a supervisor, responsible for keeping you productively occupied. What happens after you’ve successfully completed our Summer Scheme, and secured a Training Contract? You’ll continue your studies, of course.
If you’re joining our London office, you’ll do your LPC alongside all your fellow new recruits, at the same college. This means that by the time you arrive for your first day at Nabarro, you’ll be part of a well bonded “intake”.
Dates for 2017
London: 19 June to 7 July 2017 and 10 July to 28 July 2017
Sheffield: 19 June to 7 July 2017
Each year we offer around 50 places on the scheme, in London and Sheffield.
Application Process
We welcome applications from students in all disciplines. For law students, applications can be made in the penultimate year of your law degree at the earliest. Non-law students must be, as a minimum, in the autumn term of your final year to apply. Our academic requirements are: 340 UCAS points (AAB) at A-Level and a 2.1 (or above) degree – predicted or obtained.
We read all applications and do not have an automatic sifting system.
Short-listed applicants will be invited to complete an online video assessment and full details will be given to those short-listed.
To obtain a place on our Summer scheme, successful applicants will then progress through an assessment day. These are held in December and January each year for the London and Sheffield offices.
