HR Placement

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the intern recruitment process, including:
    • Advertising the Intern Programme
    • Screening potential intern CVs
    • Being responsible for telephone interviewing of potential interns
    • Running Assessment Centres
  • Monitor the Porsche recruitment ‘in-box’ on a daily basis responding to enquiries and/or taking action as appropriate - replying to speculative and specific vacancy enquiries
  • Manage the PCGB LinkedIn page – posting updates, responding to comments, posting job adverts
  • Assist HR managers with preparations for recruitment activities, including assessment centres, liaising with candidates, liaising with recruitment agencies
  • Assist HR manager with general HR Administration, including but not limited to:
    • Offers of employment
    • Employment reference checks
    • Employee Communications
    • Annual Health Surveillance Checks
    • Collation of annual appraisal documentation and resulting development needs
  • Raising HR purchase orders
  • To assist with payroll data entry for Porsche Cars GB and Porsche Retail Group employees
  • To be responsible for the Intern Payroll process
  • To work on special projects, as and when required

We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive individual who is willing to learn but also to be flexible. The successful candidate will have good communication, planning and prioritising skills with an ability to help improve procedures and administrative efficiencies. Our Human Resources Placement will give you the chance to make a real contribution to our organisation and gain invaluable work experience. Candidates should be undergraduates looking for a placement year in their 3rd year of study and ideally studying towards a HR or Business related degree, have strong IT Skills and be confident in spoken and written English.

We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday; a daily food allowance and a bus pass for travel in the Reading area.
