Training and Development Placement

To Co-ordinate and manage Non-Technical training operations on a day-to-day basis in conjunction with the Training team, acting as a key contact point with the Porsche Network.

Core Responsibilities:

  • To act as a direct contact between the Dealer Network and Porsche Cars Network Training department for day to day training enquiries.
  • Maintain and administer the Porsche Learning Management System (LMS) in conjunction with the Training team. Ensure that the database is accurate with regard to:
    • Starters and leavers
    • Training Calendar
    • Delegate bookings
  • Proactively manage the LMS, reviewing the integrity and usability of the system and database on a quarterly basis (in line with the quarterly reports) and research, recommend and project manage necessary changes
  • Co-ordinate operational training resources:
    • LMS
    • Venues (including sourcing and financial process)
    • Training calendar
    • Deliverers
  • Manage delegate communications, using appropriate tools (including the LMS)
  • To proactively manage progression along all individual learning paths in relation to:
    • Need (driven by KPI/BSC and Learning path)
    • Course availability (>85% utilisation)
    • Certification requirements (Centre compliancy)
    • Ops Guidelines (Centre compliancy)
  • To report on a quarterly basis to all individual Centres, their compliancy with regard to learning path progression.
  • Support the Training team at an operational level by co-ordinating budgets, logistics, delegate communications and bookings for Product Launch Training.
  • Provide administrative support to the Training and Development team in the areas of:
    • Travel arrangements
    • Meeting room bookings (internal and external)
    • SAP PR/PO management
    • Supplier payment and invoicing
    • Operational budget management
  • To project manage appropriate ad-hoc training requirements from brief to delivery (e.g. PDDS)
  • Ensuring that all relevant course charges are applied in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance with Financial Department guidelines
  • To manage the logistics, budget, supplier relationships and day-to-day operation of product training events, from brief to delivery.

We are looking for a talented and pro-active worker for our August 2017 programme that will play a fundamental role in day-to-day tasks and projects, giving you the opportunity to make a real contribution to our organisation and gain invaluable work experience. Candidates should be undergraduates looking for a placement year in their 3rd year of study and ideally studying towards a business related degree, have strong IT Skills and be confident in spoken and written English.

We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, daily food allowance and a bus pass in the Reading area.
