Software Developer Industrial Placement
Your challenge
Build software that solves interesting problems. Think about launching global real-time music games, or interactive webpages which can mirror what you’re experiencing in the real world. Think about how to deliver a portal that gives 14 million people every month accessible healthcare advice. We don’t limit ourselves when it comes to delivering ambitious technology. And on a 12-month industrial placement in IT Delivery, neither will you.
IT Delivery at PA Consulting Group
Our IT Delivery practice pulls together the latest technologies and a wealth of industry expertise. We design and deliver next-generation solutions for clients, including some of the biggest brands in the world. It’s a growing, vitally important part of PA. It’s also much, much more – in recent years, our teams have driven some of the most exciting work in consulting.
Your role in IT Delivery
During your year out of university, you can expect to get to grips with defining requirements, writing code and testing solutions while exploring the very latest platforms and products. You’ll also be encouraged to share ideas on how we can deliver smarter. And you’ll get plenty of exposure to our business and our people as you work in a number of small teams on a number of big projects.
This role will start in June/July 2017.

What you'll bring to the role:
- A predicted 2:1 degree, or equivalent, in an IT-related subject
- Motivation, initiative and diligence while working alone or as part of a team
- Enthusiasm and energy, plus confident communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing deadlines, and exceptional time management abilities.
