Tell us about your placement with Tech Angels

If I was asked what one aspect about my placement I can take away from it, it would be that it was the making of me.

Anyone that says working for a small company isn’t as demanding or as exciting as a big company has definitely not experienced working at Tech Angels. I feel extremely proud of myself and going into the world of work much more confident.

Tech Angels provided me with vast amounts of responsibility, enabling me to grow and excel. I was given targets and had regular meetings. Although it’s not for faint-hearted – it requires drive and self-motivation.

One of my biggest achievements (among many others!) was would to recruit and training for 5 sales positions within the organisation. I have also gained lots more invaluable skills. As well as this I managed the office day to day which required handling different work and priorities, other key skills I’ve grasped are: generating creative ideas, attention to detail, learning quickly how to use the database and have really polished communication skills. It has given me such an increase in confidence and I know it has bumped my CV way above others for my first graduate role!
