“I joined LCP after graduating from LSE with a BSc in Mathematics with Economics. I work in the Business Analytics team, specialising in Pensions & Investments.”
“The programme is a fantastic opportunity that allows you to learn about pensions, investments, the models themselves and coding. Through an intense graduate training programme, I was taught from the ground up how to effectively write code that is in line with LCP standards and general good coding practices. We predominantly use C# to develop our models. The Pensions & Investment training that we received has been helpful to understand how the other departments within LCP use the models and why the Analytics team develops them.”
“There’s been lots of support from the team who are always more than happy to help; it's clear to see they want us to succeed and grow in the team.”
“It’s a very challenging role where you’re continuously learning new things. No two tasks are the same, and every task will require you to think creatively and find efficient ways of solving the problem – it's what I enjoy most about the role. The role also involves communicating with people in the team and being comfortable explaining your solutions to them.”
