  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed all of my placement, I had a wide variety of jobs and the people I met were all so helpful!

    • All of my colleagues were very welcoming and kind.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • As well as my weekly one to one meeting with my manager, there was also the chance to have an additional mentor! I took advantage from this and had lots of support and guidance from both of them.

    • Some days were busier than others, I depended on the time of the month as sometimes there was busier periods.

    • I had to deal with some sensitive data and therefore felt as if I was valued and trusted by management.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • There is no way I could have learnt the skills I now have at University, taking this placement year will be great on by CV for the future as well!

    • This year has allowed me to network throughout the campus, so I am hopeful I will be returning at somepoint!

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • There was only 8 interns within the campus I was in. We all got along and had a few social gatherings throughout the year.

    • You need to travel about 20 minutes to get into the city centre where the nightlight is great!
