    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I had an amazing experience working with the Retirement team in Leeds for Towers Watson. I would have preferred it to be longer than 6 weeks because of how much fun I had while I was there.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone was extremely welcoming and throughout my internship I was praised and encouraged to work hard and attend social events.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was sat next to my line manager which was really useful. If I had any questions he was happy to help.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • For most of my internship I had work set but often found myself asking for work a lot because summer is a quieter time in the office. The work load was manageable once I found work and couldn't really complain.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The right amount of responsibility for an intern.

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I picked up a great deal - from learning how to interact with colleagues to using mortality software! Definitely will take a lot from this internship.

  • Extremely friendly. Everyone got on well and worked as a team. This is what attracts me most to the Leeds office.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Projects were handed out later on in the internship however they hadn't been organized prior to our arrival. We had to find work on a day to day basis.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Received a lot of training sessions and was frequently asked how I was getting on. This added to how valued I felt from the team.

  • Financial Bonus

    Company Parties/Events
