  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Good atmosphere. Nice introductory week.

  • Everyone was nice :)

  • I had a personal mentor, whom I could always ask everything.

  • I had a lot of freedom and there was no pressure on what had to be done at the end of the day. So it was all up to me, how much I made out of it.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As a young programmer, you are obviously not that skilled to have that much responsibility. But on the other hand, I think it was more important to receive training to get to a higher level.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • As I am not a computer scientist, it offered me the possibility to learn professional software development skills.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Generally good, always up for a small joke.

  • ok.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I did not have the feeling to deliver work, it was rather me learning new skills and they gave me a lot of time to do so.

  • The software department is growing. So everything is possible.

  • Good.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • As Reigate is a bit out of London, the prices were not that high, although it was for some people hard to find accommodation (but the company paid either for that or travel expenses)

  • There was a BBQ and Pub-visits.

  • A bit, e.g. Rounders tournament
