Campus Promotions Assistant
Are you up for a challenge to represent RateMyPlacement on campus and join our team to be our ‘Campus Promotions Assistant’? If you’re looking to build some fantastic hands-on experience for your CV then look no further. We have three roles up for grabs on a three month contract, with RMP (September 2015 - November 2015) .If you are confident, sociable, career-minded and self-motivated then this is the job for you!
The role:
The role will involve travelling across the country leading our Freshers and Careers fairs, working with a team of hand-picked fair helpers and promoting RateMyPlacement to students on a nationwide scale. You will be collecting student data via iPad/ iPod touches and raising brand awareness of RateMyPlacement.co.uk. Alongside a competitive salary, there is also the opportunity to achieve a significant bonus for both individual and team targets. Your ultimate goal is to ensure as many students as possible sign up to the website!
If you enjoy working to a target, meeting lots of new people and a role full of incentives then this is the perfect position for you...plus when you’re not signing up students to the wonderful RateMyPlacement website, you will be based in our fabulous office with views of the Thames in London. Did we mention the office includes our very own tiki bar ‘BaRMP’ and we have free breakfast? Whilst based in the office, you’ll be working alongside the fabulous marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Campus Promotions Assistant you will be expected to get involved with a range of activities within the marketing team when based in London. Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Attending Careers & Freshers’ Fairs across the UK promoting RateMyPlacement.co.uk to students, working to an individual and group target
- Booking travel and accommodation for campus events
- Managing a team of Brand Managers for these fairs
- Acting as a point of contact for our network of RateMyPlacement student Brand Managers and dealing with everyday enquiries
- Helping to maintain and build links with university societies whilst on campus
- Moderating our peer-to-peer reviews for the RateMyPlacement website
The candidate must be...
- From any degree discipline
- A sociable, confident, articulate individual
- A good telephone manner
- A self-starter who is able to work on their own and as member of a team
- A willingness to travel to various universities in the UK
- A willingness to help out in many different aspects of the business if necessary
- An interest in working for a small entrepreneurial company
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office and social networks
Additional Requirements:
Travel required across the UK for the full length of contract
Salary:
£16,000 pro rata + monetary bonus for hitting targets
Perks / Bonuses
Company laptop, breakfast, office bar (BaRMP), monetary bonuses for hitting group and individual targets, regular social events including team meals/drinks and great colleagues.
Minimum academic level required
Degree or above
