Responsibilities

Working in our Worldwide Manufacturing Support department under the Capital Manager of Cummins Turbo Technology business you will be responsible for several key tasks, these include:

  • Support the capital process for establishing the Capital AOP and Simulation for CTT;
  • Support the Capital Manager to run internal system to ensure clear understand of current Capital spend, co-ordinating input from all CTT functions Worldwide;
  • Support the Capital Manager to run the Capital forecast process;
  • Support the Capital Manager and business Functions to manage capital allocation / risks and exposures;
  • Ensure timely reporting of Capital status both within CTT and to Corporate;
  • Respond to short notice capital requirements (create reports / presentations for CTT & Corporate);
  • Work closely with the CTT Finance function;
  • Support project work and the day-to-day administration of capital management systems;
  • Understanding new business requirements & support improvement.

Training provided

  • A comprehensive induction programme as well as role specific training.
  • Individual training to suit particular business skills required by the business or identified by the candidate.

Qualifications

Skills and experience required:

  • Working towards a Degree in Business, ideally with a background in Finances or Business Processes, databases, systems operation and analysis;
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or commercial environment would be an advantage; particularly with data analysis responsibilities;
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well within a team and use your initiative;
  • Ambition, flexibility and confidence coupled with creativity, imagination and a desire to learn; and a willingness to take on responsibility.
