About Santander

Santander is one of the largest and most successful financial groups in the world. We’re already one of the leading names in UK banking. And we have the ambition and drive to become the best – the best bank for our customers and our investors, and the best employer for our people and also for our communities.

Summer Internships

An internship with Santander is a great way to make the most of your summer, whether you’re set on a banking career or you’re keen to explore the different options out there.

We are the career starters

Your internship will give you a first-hand insight into working life at a big business. At the same time, you’ll be developing new skills and experience through hands-on responsibility and real project work. There are great networking opportunities too. And you’ll earn a generous salary and benefits in return for your contribution.

The Risk internship is your chance to get to grips with one of banking’s fundamentals – the careful consideration of risk and reward. You’ll be working alongside the teams who protect us from threats to keep losses down and profits up.

We see our internships as a stepping stone on to our graduate schemes. If you excel during your time with us, we’ll aim to offer you a place on one of our programmes. But whatever path you end up taking after uni, your Santander internship will prove invaluable for the future.
