  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Great opportunity to apply things learnt at university. Lots of varied work, 12 other interns to spend time out of work with.

  • Was given meaningful tasks so felt part of the team

  • Any queries were sorted quickly, everyone was happy to help.

  • First 8 weeks very busy which is good. As projects came to an end, became less busy but this is understandable.

  • Given tasks which including representing my department at meetings with other engineering functions.

  • Now have a better understanding of a variety of software and the processes used in the work place.

  • Yes, 12 other interns and lots of similar aged grads

  • Accommodation average but other costs were cheap.

  • Nothing too special

  • Cycling, walking, swimming. The lake district is on your doorstep
