  • Very well organised and the work provided was of a high level.

  • Colleagues explained tasks well and were good at providing feedback and making you feel valued.

  • My supervisors were happy to answer questions and introduced me to colleagues who could provide me with work.

  • I was provided with a perfect amount of work to do in corporate and slightly less in banking.

  • I was provided with some work that was going to be sent to or would provide the basis of advice for the client as well as administrative tasks.

  • There was a good friendly and supportive atmosphere in the office.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The firm organised social events and we organised our own after work drinks. These created a good social scene.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The firm paid for their events. In terms of student-organised socialising, the location is fairly expensive.

  • The area is full of bars and restaurants.

  • The firm informed us about sports clubs and organised tours of the City and the Royal Courts of Justice.
