  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really fun internship, work was interesting and was treated well.

  • Given the same work as an associate.

  • Provided with a career counsellor to discuss issues. Management and HR were all very helpful.

  • Good balance. Busy as expected, but not too busy.

  • Worked in a team of 2-3 on an important project so took on an important share of the work.

  • They have really helped me with my development at Accenture on an industrial placement.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Great team. Was not in office a great deal as we spent most our time at client sites, but the team were great. Not too stressful.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Really well run by HR. Had one period where I had nothing to do but this was fixed quickly.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Not a great deal, they training me up on the job but as it was only a 6 week placement there is not much time to train.

  • I have been offered a grad job.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Group of around 40 interns. All really fun and very sociable. FS Risk team were also very sociable and I had a great time with them too.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Expensive but I lived at home and commuted in. Food and drink was expensive when we went out in the evenings.

  • Plenty of places to go out in london!

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Charity days, gold day presentation.
