The Role
Overall an extremely vaulable year with never a dull moment.
The student placement scheme is well grounded with students treatead simply as another employee in terms of value, exposure and also responsibility.
Support and guidance was readily available in the early months with expectation to manage your responsibilities.
As always peak times during the year but there was never a moment where work was not readily available similarly priority of work during the extremely busy periods is a must.
Simply a high level of responsibilty to push the limits of the current students to what had been done previously a sink or swim scenario in most cases.
During the year more has been learnt in terms of tangible skills then at any point during the first academic years.
The Company
Light hearted, great atmosphere, with pressure at points during the year. The number of students helped with this.
The company itself has been doing this for many years so well grounded from what they expect. This has changed with the current years students exception performance with more accountability for each student on whether they have done a good job or not.
No expense has been spared with training from the company.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Extremely competitive but a worthwhile industry that is making real difference to patients.
The Culture
Maybe just a lucky year but the whole group fitted perfectly with each other and work colleagues with a packed social calender through the year.
Ok but the area.
Not great but london only 40 minutes away.
Easy access given to fully integrate all the students.
